this old btwin frame was for sale here as a complete with a full sram groupset and literally nothing else that was useable and with a stuck bb. a similar frame is for sale by @PhilDAS They were used for the french junior national team and, though they look weird and have an annoying seat tube turret they ride great. all my road bikes have been this era: from my 08 5900sl trek to my Deda nerrissimo (sp?), which @JanWillem built, much nicer than I could. all have had threaded bbs and very little clearance. The chain stays on this though are considerably longer and there’s easily room for a 28. Nor do I get toe overlap with my size 13 dawgs. i haven’t cut the steerer and my stem is at the top because with the move to Sram I got the worst hand pains. Terrible design! I was luck to get thomson bar stem and chopped dher’s masterpiece seatpost cheap so everything is there is matching but the wheels are a total mishmash of parts found cheap. Thanks as always to Arup for the build on them.
