There isn’t very much hub noise. For those wanting to know.

I looked up the DT Swiss 350 weights and put them on one of the previous pages - the J-bend set is 390g and that might be underreporting slightly. Straight pull centrelock 240 hubset is listed at 305g.
I don't have any 350 hubs to compare to but of the many hubs that I have seen the Prime ones look perfectly fine and sensibly put together. Longevity would be the thing that is harder to assess by eye I suppose.

I'm 99% convinced that the barradouer rims are Kinlin XR26T. That price is mad.
-
• #6555
They must have some insane amount of stock for them to have been up at £60 for the last week and still not sold out.
-
• #6556
Thanks for the review of these as I've been thinking about a set for a cheap build. Seems like they're well worth £99.
Edit: too slow, now sold out -

Cheap singlespeed commuters if anyone's in the market

It seems the 650b carbon wheels are back in at Wiggle
-
• #6559
I don't see them? Got a link? Not that I actually want/need any more, just wondering.

They were in my basket from a few days ago and it let me complete the purchase. Maybe it’ll be cancelled when someone try’s to pick the order. None of the links work…
Update - I had a basket of three items on my phone. One of the items (a dhb helmet) flagged as out of stock and to remove it. The wheelset was in there and did not say out of stock. Even though it can’t be found on the site.
Order currently processing…Update 2 - apparently will ship in next 24 hours.

Ah fair enough, I hope you get lucky!
I’ll be selling my £198 pair rather than returning them… -

The disconnect between £/UK prices and €/EU prices is nuts.

I picked up some of the Prime Attaqeur wheels from Wiggle. Does anyone have any use for the spare QR or 15mm thru axle conversion bits? I don't need them so they'll just sit in a box otherwise.

I caved and ordered one of these: https://www.wiggle.com/p/vitus-escarpe-29-mountain-bike-frame-grey?color=cool-grey&sizeStandard=M
Seeing as the shock alone is sold for ~500 seems like a bargain. All the reviews seem positive. Bargain trail bike build incoming next year...

Ooh, the Ultimate looks ideal. I was originally thinking about using the Pike on my existing mtb but not sure if you can change Pikes to 150mm?

I'm now idly wondering how much trouble I'd be in if I fitted some 160mm forks to my (140/150mm-rated) Jeht...

Might be of use to someone on here who lives in Italy or has a friend with an Italian registered address….
Rotor are offering 40% off everything on their site at the moment, but only in Italy I think.
If you want anything desperately you can post it to my address and arrange shipping from here. Trust me, honest guv -

You must be using an Italian address though. -

Although I have decided to save what little money I have 😁
They actually don't have a UK site, it's rest of world or rest of Europe so shipping would probably be costly.
The UK distro for rotor always have mad offers anyway
I’ve rejigged all the wheels I need.
I bought attaquer rim and disc brake. They seem fine for me, I’m not heavy (yet…), disc brakes will replace my dp ryde wheels on novatec. They seem comparable. These will be my “all road”.
Rim brakes are fine.
Barradouer for my sscx bike and attaquer for my road bike.
