I think the cxii was a customisable tri frameset, so as much detail on geo would help. Tt slope, ht angle may play a big part in why tt is short. I messaged you about it on ebay couple years ago for a friend who wanted a road bike but she changed her mind.

Respray? It looks in better state than most bikes I've seen on sale here. Maybe indicated why?

Wheels are long gone however maybe coming back to me due a long winded ebay dispute with someone who bought them thinking they were 700c despite being clearly advertised as 650c. Will keep you in the loop if your still interested.

What would you say the tyre clearance is? I have a Triban 3 in a 48cm for my wife. But running 28c tyres

Tyre clearance is 25c and yes you are correct although not impossible. Some newer NOS stuff crops up on eBay every now and then…

Some inspiration for a TT build.

I believe the top tube is so short to accommodate the reach required for the tri extensions for a TT build. In the end this frame is probably comparable to a 52-53cm in terms of standover etc.

I'm 5 ft 9 with an 85cm (approx) inseam and I have around 2 inches spare standing over the top tube.
