These arrived today, others in select parts of H&F may have had them for 2 years

Some absolute waste of oxygen has just casually slung a bin bag of their household rubbish into the end of my side path. Right next to my fucking bin. If they had have taken the extra two seconds to put it into my bin, I wouldn't have noticed. But as it also had food waste in there, the foxes have of course obliterated it and it's all over the foot path and my path. Pricks.

Bincredible scenes here.
I knife carved our house number into lid of our prev grey bin, it still vanished so we coughed up 20notes for a replacement. Tonight no-one had retrieved their bins from collection, and there amongst them the carved lid number shone out like a beacon.
We now own two grey bins.

And you could identify who had taken it?

No they're dumped in a cluster not outside each house. Probably best that way tbh.

I’d checked in advance and found that our bins were being collected today (our usually day is a Monday). I notified everyone on our street WhatsApp ground, and basked in the resulting adulation - buoyed by the additional waste generated by Christmas.
It happens that today is my birthday - I think the warm, smug feeling I’ve had all day has been the best present I could receive. -

I've just done the bin walk of shame, having put the bins out last night for the usual Friday collection.
collection day has been moved to tomorrow.
so embarrassing. 🤦 -

4 extra days to the bin collection, too much to fit in the bin.
Pondering jumping up and down on the bin contents to make room, leaving the extra black bags on top of the open bin, next to the bin or waiting for the bins to be emptied and put extra bin bags in then.

i put my sisters bins near her front gate with extra xmas bags on top to weigh the lids down on the night of the big winds. in bed around 1 am i suddenly got panicked that the extra xmas bags might have blown off and the contents of the bins distributed all over the street and her front garden cause i heard some tin cans rolling around outside
got up dressed went out but the extra xmas bags on top were rock solid and still in place and it was someone elses tin cans rolling down the streetphew

I was the bin king in our road last night, the only one to put it out for the alternative collection day.

Still binmageddon here. All combos out on various days.
I mean, how hard can it be? Go to the council website, remember what they call bin collection, re-register your postcode again, choose your address, find the new schedule, download it, print it off, annotate the garden waste days following fortnightly from the previous schedule, stick on the fridge, recycle the old schedule and off you go. It really is as simple as that.
So obviously it's food, card and general tonight.

Received the dreaded letter today, bin day is changing from Monday to Wednesday from end of March.
It will take years to learn the new routine.
