GRX Di2 definitely have more room than SRAM AXS. That's why there's a wide AXS.
I've worked in a lot of GRX equipped bikes and never had problems with 45 tyres. The chainline is wider than road Di2. If you can't space out your existing P2M the GRX FD will be right at the inner adjustment limit to shift.
I'd say try it and if it doesn't work get GRX 48/31 with a 4iii arm, it's big enough for road and a 30 ish cassette and you can get massive range with a 40t cassette if needed.
GRX has quite a bit more room then it seems. I don't know what chainline my gravel P2M has but it'll all get thrown on and I'll see what it looks like. If I don't like it's limits I'll stick a 1x grx crank on it w/ maybe 38-40T.
