agreed on the peated whiskies at tastings. it's the ardbeg 10 that i'm going to take but yes it's deffo one for later in the evening. we generally have a bit of a free pour afterwards and a few beers.
blair athol 12 is a good shout, don't think we've tried that one.
my other thoughts were the dalwhinnie 15 as i really liked the winters gold.
or maybe the black bottle 10 blended - really tasty for the price.
i think we're already had the arran 10.
i'm guessing that one of the others will probably bring the lidl special if it's available.
i generally try to get something that's not supermarket shelf available (not from a snobbish standing, just not as likely to double up on bottles)
For something a bit different the Cotswolds stuff is really nice. As is Bimber if you can get your hands on some, but a bit more pricey and not available everywhere.
