Jesus man I need fewer bikes, not more

Me too so one in one out as much as I've enjoyed this

Fortunately it's too big for me.

Would you consider selling the entire bike rather than just F&F?
-
• #7
I've just bought a cross frameset so everything will go straight over. If I sell the full bike it'll cost me more to buy replacement 1x hydro groupset and carbon wheels than I'd get for the bike

But it would save you time not having to clean and de-build it 🤣

After taking the rear mudguard off there a couple of little rub marks on the backside of the seat tube. Not bad and mostly hidden. I'll clean and touch up and retake close ups of those areas. F+F Bars/Stem, bearings and chainring

Save me from myself I'm already eyeing up a Candy Purple respray and Deep wheels to build it back up as best bike despite having built my best bike earlier this year 😬

You're letting it go?! No doubt it's served you well, still got a lotta love for this thing. So what's the Black Friday deal that barged this outta the barn then?
You're also making me look back selling it for this price. Total steal! Have a bump.

Long story long did a couple of cx races on my XC bike decided I love cross and convinced myself very quickly needed a dedicated CX bike as my couple of disappointing mid pack finishes were entirely bike rather than leg related (they were not) Then comes the rain and mud and I don't like CX as much but a Vitus energie evo came up on sale less than half price so I bought it anyway now I've got too many bikes. My wifes words not mine so I'd better fucking sell one. Also her words so here we are buying selling and losing money all the way 🤷♂️

Calling dibs on the vitus then :) -

All stripped and cleaned. I'm going to to touch up where the guards have rubbed and will put up new pics then. They're small cosmetic and mostly hidden so still a very tidy frame overall. There is only one bit of rub behind the bb shell the other dark spots are for cables I've just covered the the couple i wasn't using. After taking the headset bearings out they feel rough so I'll order a new set. F+F axles, seat clamp 3t Apto pro 110mm stem, 3t Superleggero pro 44 cm bars, front mech hanger and a brand new headset
EDIT: Now properly cleaned and touched up see last few pics

£230 F+F, axles, seatclamp, bars, stem & new headset
I bought this last year on here for £550 f+f only and it's been the perfect all-rounder. Not the pimpest bike I've owned but the easiest to live with. It just does everything really well but I've just been suckered into a Black Friday special I don't need so can't justify keeping this aswell. I'll be stripping and swapping parts next week or the following so will be ready to post then. It's currently in Brighton built up like this for test rides for anyone local. £400 for frame and fork, axles, front mech hanger. It has a headset seat clamp a 110mm 3t apto pro stem and 44cm superleggero pro alloy bars. It clears 28's with the crud racers on so 30mm without on the front and easily at the back. It's in really good condition both photos of the bike are how it is currently after day to day commuting. I'll give it a really good clean before sale but it's all in 9/10 condition. Any photos or questions in the meantime just ask.
