Found myself doing a firmware update on my toothbrush last year, that was a bizarre experience.
Bizarre, it is almost the old people commenting that they never updated their toothbrush.
Plus take over, but now wondering what there is to update.
To be honest I have no idea, I bought it, wanted to check out just how ridiculous the app was (it attempts to keep track of which areas of your mouth you've covered and which you haven't, as well as tracking brush times, all a bit useless IMO).
But yeah, required a firmware update first.
