That's classic. Good it's only first floor.
When they see bird the just go.Fourth floor probably not enough time to react from oh shit to hitting the floor.

Saw it and was terrified that he was injured, he walked off and left squished bird.
The furry gobshite, got out on to the roof (small terraced block) via the skylight and wandered across the roof and wandered in to someone else's garden by climbing down some bushes and a tree.
Same git will get on top of the fridge and cry to be brought down...and cuddled like a baby....

Cats can fall from a plane and not get injured. They have a very low terminal velocity once they're upright and spread out. Anything above 7 stories I think and the speed is the same so could be 7 stories or 30,000 feet.

I'm slightly terrified of the tree going up this year with two six month old cats in the house.
they're being proper dickheads today as well.
I've just cleaned up after they knocked a full, thankfully small, watering can off the kitchen windowsill trying to find the new washing up brush that they're obsessed with. -

I hear ya , this little bastard has really got it on him this morning.
From carrying my specs off to attacking his sister when she is asleep on the bed next to me. And yea heβs been fed. @ 6:30!

yeah, somehow I don't think cats quite get the concept of a Sunday lie in.
obviously happy to lie wherever when it suits them though.

Lucky to have three cats in the house whenever my partner comes over to stay. My kitten and hers are littermates and everyone gets on surprisingly well. I also keep finding the new kitten (Cosmo) and resident cat (Prince) using the litter box at the same time π

Mabel's mother is a Sphinx, her father is a British Short Hair. Nice jumpers there!
True, just chatting. Amazed at the times my cats would get to strange places and get down.
My boy cat, jumped from a first floor julliet balcony to catch a pigeon mid flight and land on the pigeon in the courtyard and was fine. The pigeon wasn't tho.
