First time using a betting site about 20yrs ago I did the £5 initial deposit, put about £2 on a 6 result accumulator on the football results that day. They all came in and I won about £200
Withdrew £150, gradually lost the rest and didn’t bother putting more in.
Fortunately wasn’t ever naive enough to think I knew what I was doing.
I’ll chuck a few quid on the lottery every now and then when it’s a silly top prize - because obviously only >£100m is worth winning 🤷♂️
