It is an E3, Airfix's new(ish) tool 1/48 version. Goes together really nicely.

Nice painting on that 109.
Maybe painters could make stencils on a Cricut. -

Many do already and you can make masks for canopies too. I almost pushed the button on a Silhouette cutter this Black Friday but thought better of it.

To be honest it's mostly Flory Weathering Wash and a bit of Tamiya X-19 Smoke.
Truthfully, I think I overdid it a bit.

Aw, shucks... Thanks.
The next Shelf of Doom is this. A snot-green Revell Mustang. Going to dick about with chipping paint on this one as the Tex Hill Mustang was down to the skin.
And a Shark Mouth!

I never really liked Gundam, but my son loves them and it got him into modelling which was good for him in all sorts of ways, but I found the little SD Gundam kids quite fun and last summer bought myself one of the Master Grade SD Gundam kits, which was an enjoyable few weeks of idle modelling.
There's a second kit due out soon, which I'll probably get as well.

Cool. I like a lot of the models you get. So much nostalgia when you posted the Zoid

My eldest (11) is learning to build. It IS so therapeutic for focus and patience imo.
@psg1ben yes. I loved Zoids as child. What I find amazing is this stuff is timeless. They have repackaged but basically the same as 30 year ago. #metoo
^ That VF-1 is bigger than it ever was today. It is also the precurser to a more obvious franchise. Transformers. (They used the design for G1 Jetfire)

Agreed. Zoids were* so cool!
*I didn’t realise there were contemporary ones available.
