I have no argument with that, but I think the idea of this thread is to show new bikes that look like old ones, @Gaston is the overlord and decision maker.
Giving that bike modern carbon wheels would put it straight into HHSRB. Ultimately, if we want bikes as fast as modern carbon bikes we should buy modern carbon bikes.

Glorious and classic. Although with that seat position it'd look better with a zero offset post, which I think would tie in nicely with the welded stem and straight fork.
