i really quite enjoyed the wee beastie.
had a few glasses of ardbeg 10 last night, as my wife let slip that she'd bought me a bottle for xmas, and i've got a 3/4 full bottle in the stash already.i've got a whisky night coming up where the theme is 'age statement over 10' so i'll probably take that along as an extra bottle.
not sure what to buy as my main bottle though - i think we've already tried all of the obvious ones... any recommendations welcome! looking to keep it fairly reasonable though.

Been wanting to get round to this for a while, pretty much exactly what I was expecting from a young Ardbeg, bigger punch of alcohol and medicinal peatiness than the 10 but still has the classic Ardbeg taste. Was expecting a bit of sweetness but it's very sweet to me.
I'll have a couple more this evening then come back to it in a month to see how it opens up.
