Cheers - have an iPhone through work so Lightning cable not too much of an issue

I'd get the newer one, because it's newer (meaning it will be supported for longer, it will "last longer", because it's newer tech (better display, and better camera, which would be important to me), also it just looks nicer (thinner frame / no "home button")..
