Right it's overall more reasonable now! A lovely climb past the girls school at the start but then some flatter stuff between Crowhurst and Edenbridge, and then Pilgrims and Berry's Green / Downe back to Hays for coffee at Panagua. No more south face of Toys, no Star Hill.

Yeah I was just thinking this same think. Let me take another look but last I checked it looked absolute pants. I'm not adverse to awful, but if it's going to be awful it should be worth everyone's energy and we should be richly rewarded for our courage.

I think I'm the jinx on these - every time I'm determined... weather and or trains stop the ride. Part of my train journey is actually cancelled so I've got a full refund but will carry the sadness of not fixie skiddin with pals.

same here, really eager initially, but sore throat + double drop of rain puts me off the journey there.
