I've had that happen a number of times and every time it was just a matter of spraying with contact cleaner - letting it evaporate and the apply a generous layer of white vaseline to the inside of the hub connector.
The wife's even had a period of flickering during riding which was fixed as well.

Tried the contact cleaner and through trial and error have narrowed the issue down to either the front light or the cable between the front light and hub. Annoyingly I'd painstakingly threaded the cable through the strut of my front rack so need further inspection.
Anyone know what B&M's support/returns are like? Think I bought the light from bike-discount or bike24 pre Brexit 🙃

Just seemingly stopped working mid-ride, and now the wheel spins freely with none of the usual resistance. Will give cleaning the contacts a try though, thanks
