Amazing, I've also been looking for something like this but had no idea what they were called. Nice one.

Copenhagen predictably has plenty of cargos. Families of 4 on one bike has been a regular sight. Also £3-4k bikes being left in the street not locked to anything 🫠

Ha, yes. Took me a little while, the guide for the box written by a helpful German called them rundknöpfe..

Getting the whole family on one bike is awesome (we are 3 but manage it sometimes

It's not mega bike safe in cpn, probably just couriers popped into a building tbh. But yes lots of cargos, esp manual family bikes which us great to see, the Dutch look down on the state on Denmark cycle infrastructure, and the rest of us look way up to both lol

We were having lunch in the restaurant by those. They were both there for an hour+. Trust me i was keeping an eye on them 🫡

Any more info on the custom tarp? Did you have to fit the eyelets as well?

My wife made a sweet real tree cover for her bullit, mostly to stop people throwing rubbish in whilst its parked!
What? In 3000 days of cargo bike ownership, this has never happened to me. It would really surprise me.

Yep just bought an eyelet tool, super easy.

Literally every day, people chuck rubbish in it. Londoners are scum bags

Would love to hear the reasoning behind doing that. Must be a far out mindset.

Seeing as the weather looks a bit nippy this week and I'm damned if I'm resorting to the car or public transport for the school run.

My insights from today:
- Big Apples are terrifying on snow & ice.
- I really need to adjust my speed and breaking style.
- Now that I've fallen down with the bike and scratched the bed, I can stop worrying about falling down and scratching the bed.
- e-cargo-bikes are really fun winter bikes.
Marathon Winter + Winter I've got on order should help to #1. #2 might take more work to fix, especially when not carrying the child.

#2 goal: powers slides out of corners?

How are they on regular tarmac? Keep debating if they're worth the investment

Sounds like a car driving over gravel. But run fine. 6 mile round trip this evening and I don't think I've lost any studs yet.

So... Marathon Winter to the front, Big Apple to the rear? At least I might be able to get matching scratches to the left side of the bed as well.

Good olan. Plus something heavy all the way forward in the box!

More tyre chat please! My Super Moto Xs on Tern GSD (gen 1) are getting pretty thin, 7000 miles in I think so they have lasted very well. I see most seem to be going for narrower tyres e.g. GT365 or Big Ben / Apple, will I notice a big difference in 2.15" vs 2.4". Is it that those going for the 2.15" have front sus, which I don't, so should I just get another pair of the Super Moto X or is the Pickup the answer for me then? (I live in London and very rarely leave the tarmac)
Thanks

7000 miles seems pretty good going! did you have any other complaints or issues with them? If not i'd prob go for the same again. pretty safe to say fatter is better with cargo.
Also is it electric or acoustic?

I've just been using both GT365 and Winter Plus recently. The rear was 2.25 in the big bens and now 2.15 on the other two models. Not suspension on the rear obvs but no noticeable difference either.
That being said, if I could I would go fatter. So go with Super Moto X.

No complaints, not many punctures and good handling, lost it a couple of times but I don't think any tyre would have saved me, once on black ice and once on wet paved road under emergency braking.
I think @amey mentioned the Pickup was the consensus upgrade on other groups but interested what the improvement might be?
