Uggghh didn’t really get in to the race today. Felt ok, few spills in front of me delayed me early on. I don’t think I really enjoyed any of the sections today, maybe the lumpy climb.

I loved it, fast course with some good tekkers bits.

Rode the intermediates, i.e. Grifos, and they were spot on.

Blatant spam, but at least it’s in a relevant thread.
Ti cross frame for sale.

I really enjoyed the Hog Hill layout, although I thought the lap was really short!!
I had a poor start and went from front row back to around 11th/12th.
I pushed through and got back to 6th by the end of the first lap.
Couple more laps and I was battling for 2nd place.
Had an off (pictured) and put my rear mech through my rear wheel, this was at the bottom of the first descent, so we'd only just recently gone passed the pits.
10mins of running later and a lap down, I managed to get my spare bike.
Managed to latch back onto 2nd places wheel, and got back to 9th senior (15th overall)Really frustrating race for me, as I feel that 2nd was easily within my grasp

That corner was getting really sketchy, I’m surprised there weren’t more crashes there as people seemed to be carrying too much speed into it.
I hope the damage wasn’t too costly to repair.

Hauling ass through it and front end goes light as the ground falls away.
Not surprised I crashed there. The rear mech has a small opening that managed to hook a spoke. It jammed.
Undid the pulley wheel, freed the spoke, realigned the rear mech and trued the wheel.
All sorted now, but wasn't doable trackside

No worries. Did you get it set up tubeless in the end?
I'm not racing this weekend I'm afraid. I try to avoid that course when I can, and even more so when the ground is hard. It's so bumpy that I can't brake or shift after about half a race. Too many broken bones over the years, the vibration just kills my hands. It only seems to happen there.
Its not a bad course other than that. There's usually a spiral, which can do one! Makes you seasick.
Some fast sections, a lot of corners and normally a sandpit.
Enjoy!

Not yet - thats the plan though.
Ah fair play, well it sounds like something different for sure! Cheers for the race preview, we'll see how I get on
I did the V40 and it was surprisingly non-muddy, even at the bottom. my bike didn't even need a wash afterwards.
it will have cut up after a few more races today and tomorrow but, unless if rains, it'll be nowhere near as muddy as the last couple of years
