Came here to moan about Beko quality, or lack of. My Mum asked me to look at her Beko fridge freezer at the weekend as 'something had fallen off the top of the freezer section and it was held on with Blu Tack'.
She's in her 70s, and obviously freezer manufacturers don't use Blu Tack, so I took the Blu Tack bit with a pinch of salt. Turned out the air temperature sensor is within a little plastic cage at the top which clips in. Said clips are not well designed - at all - so it fell off. She's added some 'extra Blu Tack' within the little plastic cage thing to try and keep it on, but that didn't work so she used sticky tape.
On clearing out the Blu Tack my Mum had added to the little plastic cage, I found perfectly formed, clearly factory-fitted, perfect little squares of...
Blu Tack.
So yeah, Beko literally hold their fridge freezers together with Blu Tack when they make design errors. I will not be purchasing any Beko appliances for my new kitchen!
