I was into this back in the day, first with 12v halogen bulbs in plumbing fittings and then later led optics and bflex controllers.

Is that a lumicycle housing?

Yep lumi housing originally halogen that I dropped some led bits into. My very first light had a desk lamp tapped to the stem. Cannot bring myself to bin em..

Back in the 90s, I used to make them from the front end of a shitty Eveready flashlight. I'd trade out the bulb for a halogen and stick a RC car 6 cell battery in a water bottle. Many a night rides using that set up.

Then I got one of these NightSun which truth be told was a great piece of basic solid engineering. Great mounting system. I loved them.
