Sharp, tight breaks and the Hype-style bassline is tough. The chipmunk vocals just seem to work.

This caused a bit of a kerfuffle lately. It went up for sale and there were no sound clips anywhere. As they're so limited and sought after, people's issue was that they had to decide whether to buy it or not without listening - as by the time clips were likely to surface, it'd be gone.

I hadn't laid out on anything else that Bandcamp Friday so gave it a go. Glad I did as, even though it's the presence of Tom & Jerry that causes this sort of hype, I really like the other side! Not that the T&J isn't worth it - they're always good.

I guess I mostly do them for myself and listen back to them constantly for my own enjoyment, but I put a tonne of consideration and prep into these mixes and don’t have a fraction of the time I wish I had to make more - if I had it my way it’s all I’d do - so hearing that other people dig them really makes it extra worth the effort.

Hopefully next week is full on de-mob mode at work, which is looking likely, and I can get the other one I have planned sorted. Maybe even two 😉
