Hi, I'm late to the list of Orbital Fasteners recommendations,
but,
if you need a longer threaded section Orbital also offer
'Set Screws' in M8 x 100mm with continuous thread at £14.23 per 100 for 100+, item no. 1851412

Yup those are the ones. They're cheaper for everything else I need too so all good (washers, nuts etc).
