  • Is that a duster or a squash?

  • I think it needs two juliet balconies on each side and a fountain at the end.

  • End clothing have a BF sale on and with Amex there’s an extra 10% off - there’s a few bits and pieces which might be of interest.

I queued from 7:30 at the Vitra sample sale today and barely found anything - there was a fight over an Eames model a stool which was an interesting watch

  • There are some new faux barns that are being built down the road from us. I’m not going to get into how rubbish the design of these executive horrors are, but just look at the name of one of them. You can see who they are aimed at. I for one hope it lives up to its name.

  • All sound like they are being built by Alan Partridge. Can you see a static caravan anywhere?

  • Originally there was a really nice run down arts and crafts house there. But it sort of “fell down” as planning was put in for 4 ‘barns’ and a ‘farm house’.
The old place was £800k the new builds are ‘barns’ £800k + each and the ‘farm house’ £1.2m Money for old rope and shit design.

lol, the potential to grab an eames model a stool was the only reason I contemplated going. Glad I didn't!

  • Extremely happy with how our Vitsoe system turned out, only just got around to cleaning up and getting some good pictures. Thought some of you on here would appreciate :-)

  • That is really nice. I love mine but it's a bit more conventional.

  • Really nice. Travel chess?

  • Modular synthesis at the breakfast table, love it

  • And a copy of The Vagina Bible.........

  • And 2 yellow pencils

  • Yes, we put the pieces up there for a Halloween party and it’s got a bit of a vibe

  • Beautiful! Good colour coordination with window frames and chairs too!
Not inclined to get the TV stand integrated with deeper shelves or something?

  • Good colour coordination with window frames and chairs too!

Or is it? The left window frame on the first picture looks kinda orange?

  • Previous owner pained the plastered window frame a kind of pastely orange, haven’t gotten around to painting over it yet…

If the tv was on the shelf it would be ideal but the angle doesn’t work too well for that. Would require a new smaller tv, which I wouldn’t be opposed to..

  • we all love a bit of Vitsoe shelving, great arrangement you have.
    thanks for sharing

  • Given how much it rains in this country, how come our roofs don't extend out more?

  • I was actually admiring a house the other day which had a lovely extended roof overhang which would be a great hiding place in the pishing scottish rain.

  • ...and for the climate change blazing summers in a couple of years.

  • And, unfortunately, bad news with increased wind speeds and gusts
