• today I did a bit of tyre swapping. after suffering a couple too many flats on the brother last week, i swapped the worn out tanwall paselas for some 35mm gravelking sk. I think it looks pretty purposeful with the all black tyres.
the sk's were on the plug, so I slapped on a pair of 43 sk tanwalls for some woodland commute fun for any drier days over the winter.
the plug is also in need of new cranks, bb, and possibly ebb, as I can't stop the current one from slipping in the shell.

  • cheers - i'll have a look at those. the current one is a double wedge design which requires a hefty tap with a mallet to remove / adjust, and then seems to slip after adjustment which makes the chain bounce off due to lack of tension on rough ground. not ideal.
