Baked beans are just soup

Neither is a vegetable.
However I’m going to catch myself out before anyone else does: I like spinach with eggs. Also potatoes, in the form of hash browns. -

It is wierd, the crumpet and soup mix. But then I come from the land of stale bread soaked in warm milk for breakfast. Then again I had a friend that had toast that was only done on one side. That is odd.

Haha neither they are!

Shakshouka is not a soup....not even kind of soupy. It is like saying a pasta sauce is soupy.
Actually, might have it tomorrow morning as breakfast.

Wilted spinach with a poached egg on toast is a nice breakfast.

Cold curry or pizza with flat beer...the breakfast of that is all you have and can't face the noise of a kettle.

Soup with bigger lumps.

I dunno, maybe it’s normal to some.
I was raised on ricicles and Nutella. :/Do they still make ricicles?
Edit- nope and a nos box goes for big money. -

I mourn the the passing of sugar puffs. Such wokery...calling them wheat puffs ;)
Ah Nutella - the healthy breakfast, spread on random things such as Melba toast...no idea what that fake pre toasted biscuit)toast thing is.

Does hit the spot in a wierd way. I feel that the greasy pizzas are the best with the thick bread base.
Had left over chips ( yeah first time in my life) and made a sort of tortilla. Wish I'd had some cheap really fatty bacon cubes to fry the onions in. So had a bacon/lard flavoured faux tortilla. Was odd chopping up cold chips.

Guilty. Steel cut in a rice cooker overnight, does that make it worse?

So wrong but so right at the same time!

Does that work well?

Perfect, set it and forget it.
It finishes at the time I decide and keeps it warm if I sleep in. -

I do use my rice cooker to make risotto, and leave it on heat warm for ages.
Think my Japanese rice cooker has a congee setting but don't understand how it works.
Should be a cross post with the porridge thread

Had Oxtail soup for breakfast as a skint student once, still haunts me. Brain fundamentally knew it wasn't breakfast and I felt dirty eating it/csb

I was raised on ricicles and Nutella. :/
I read that as "I was raised on ridicules and Nutella"

It has a "porridge" setting that I use for oats though I suspect it's a translation of congee. 3 to 1 ratio and some salt.
Mushrooms and tomato would be a de rigeur part of the full English though right?
