I think there was a reason mass participation trampolining didn't exist 20 years ago.
Everyone was a fucking snowflake.

"A crowbar was left in a foam pit by contractors you say? Stuff and nonsense."

Too fucking true. Kids today with their wavey garms and tik tok.

Special...
Michael Matheson, the Scottish health secretary, racked up almost £11,000 of mobile phone charges while on a week-long holiday in Morocco.

To be fair I’m in China and I’m fairly sure that’ll be my bill when I’m back

This is normal for most organisations, there’s always one exec who takes a company tablet to Kazakhstan and watches all of Game of Thrones on the data sim, because they couldn’t be arsed to connect to the hotel Wi-Fi.

We had someone clock up £3k recently. To be fair they were in Israel as it was attacked and loads of other communication methods had been cut off.

Was looking at these frames to display (and more importantly store/hide) kids’ art work. Love the strapline.

I just found out my partner used to have crumpets with vegetable soup for breakfast as a child.
I’m mildly disgusted.Soup for breakfast isn’t a thing, is it?
-
• #27217
…just mildly … ? !
mind you , isn't porridge just oat soup ? -
• #27218
Maybe it’s a northern thing?
I dunno, it’s definitely weird. To me soup is savoury so I personally wouldn’t consider porridge as oat soup…
-
• #27219
Why not? Why should soup for breakfast be any more odd than a "Full English"? Where I grew up, smoked haddock poached in milk is a common breakfast meal.

When I was in Iraq, the standard breakfast was a lentil soup. It was very good. It was also a welcome change from the falafel wraps that made up every single other meal. (Iraq is not a big vegan destination)

Congee is also a really common breakfast.
Shakshouka is also kind of soupy. -

What about the weirdos that make their purritch with water and salt?
-
• #27223
I love the “just water and salt” brigade, who then slap on a fat wedge of butter and a heap of demerara
-
• #27224
And I agree, vegetables for breakfast is weird.

Quite a few countries I have visited have stew type dishes for breakfast
Just seen the Daily M*il has an absolute litany of horror injuries and incidents at other sites too. I think there was a reason mass participation trampolining didn't exist 20 years ago.
