After a close call slipping on some black ice, I have concluded that more weight needed to be transferred onto the back wheel. What seemed bothersome was that it didn't even happen through a corner. The back end kicked out standing up trying to get the revs up before a hill. I'm gonna probably keep my ass down for the near future.
You guessed it stem/bar swap.. I've had the pleasure of running aluminum Easton monkey bars... Haven't had the desire for xc monkey lite's that come along with all the pain of running carbon bars
