I recently used paypal (f and f) to buy some shoes for a friend (non english speaker). On my bank statement it shows up as DD - direct debit. Checking my direct debits the payment is listed under the one I have for the NYT. I've messaged paypal but anyone had anything similar? No other payments have been taken out and it seems more likely an error than an attempt at fraud.
