I can't imagine they'll go for a winter election. Not great for their core vote and not great for the door knockers.

Given their membership are predominantly older people, a winter election for them is very foolish, as they'll struggle to get enough people out on the streets to leaflet and door knock. That still matters.

They get an election leaflet delivered every day on the front cover of the Daily Express.
