Yep, if the footswitch has 2 buttons on it you'll need a lead with 2 rings like this:

I have that exact amp left over from a similar time! Used to run it cranked through the nearest 4x12 and it was huge. Kept blowing transformers though, which was not ideal for my financial situation at the time!

Lovely pair, similar vibe…

Silverface deluxe is a dream amp, good all-rounder and much prefer the aesthetics over earlier looks. Wasn’t planning on owning a tele, but glad I bought this one. New favourite.

I’ve become hooked on a YouTube ‘teacher’ called Jack Ruch. A Nashville session and band player he took to the ‘tube during lockdown. I find his tone delightful and whilst the technique and fretboard understanding are above my current level I’m confident it’s the tone I seek. His style is so laid back but full of info that I find it wasy to listen to and try some of the simpler things he plays.

Fuck yeh! Loving the black tele and silverface vibes. Right up my street.

I’m still digging Uncle Larry and JD Simo.

Rich in Wales has finished with my Mockingbird.
I got it back yesterday, and although it'll be a while before I get round to building it up, it looks amazing. To say I'm delighted with it is a massive understatement.
I left the back and neck to him to decide what to do, and the violin type burst on it looks so good. I think it's possible that I might have overcooked it with the quilted back plate and it looks a bit lairy, but it's not like the rest of the guitar is subtle :)

Squire Tele 50's Classic Vibe showed up. Very very impressed! Plays really nicely straight from the box. Could do with a really minor setup, the action is a tiny bit high and possible a couple of frets are slightly high. But I love it! Will change the bridge for one with compensated brass saddles and put a white pick guard on it. The gloss on the neck doesn't feel too bad. For £258 this is a brilliant guitar!

When I’ve back to backed stuff in a guitar shop, gloss urethane necks feels awful but my main guitar has the thickest poly all over it and it never ever bothers me. 🤷

Yeah I'm very surprised, I was ready to get busy with wet and dry on it!

Been really happy with the Gotoh “in-tune” compensated brass saddles on my Tele btw. Made a solid difference.

I know a few people liked the idea of the gold foil triple-humbucker-Bigsby Jazzmasters when they came out - Andertons has both colours at £999 now (from £1439, apparently, though they're listed at £1369 on the Fender site):

That’s a great looking Tele. You have some cool guitars… and books.

Sorry. I liked the Tele one. Oh shit, GAK has that one for £800…
Newish guitar and amp day.
Mid-nineties MIJ, bought from my boss who is rhythm in a mid-nineties band who had one big hit. Needed some deep cleaning, new hardware and threw in some nicer pickups while I was there. Also had a silver pearloid pick guard to go with the pearl binding, but couldn’t resist going full on black black gold.
Also spotted one of the new Vibro Champs second hand while I was up north. Very enjoyable pairing.
