  • Very cute cat. The beauty spot is incredible!

    Thanks for the tips.
Seems like it's down to really just giving out the food they need and monitoring if both get their share.
We also have the possibility of buying food the hoover does not like. Which is evil but will probably work.
Ours is tiny, and had a complicated fracture on her leg which is the reason she ended up in the shelter. Was 3kg when we got her. We're told she shouldn't get heavier. 3.2 last vet visit. Shouldn't get heavier. 3.4 now 🙄.

  • Ah - sorry to hear about the gamy leg.

Stevie was over 6kg last vet visit. She's not even a large cat.

we have found that the non greedy cat still gets as much food as she wants. probably not exactly her share but she doesn't go hungry and doesn't seem at all bothered. she's not losing weight either (she's a healthy weight though).

    comedy short legs

  • Don't be sorry, she's fine.
She ended up with us after their previous owners couldn't afford the vet after her fall from the 4th floor, so the big Berlin shelter did crazy stuff including metal screws.
And we were looking for a companion for our other cat, saw the funny furry online, and went to get her.
We had a net on the balcony anyway.
Then I also installed a cat safe insect net in one of the windows. 5 minutes later she would have jumped out again...

  • Looks like one of those Japanese dachshund cats!
