Bike may well be fast, rider less so but I’m claiming that is due to wanting to give observers proper chance to admire it….

Excellent. Enjoy the creation of memories on it.

That first feel when you get on it , must have been a relief :)

Absolutely, was really worried that it wouldn’t fit or there would be something not taken into consideration but no, it was all fine

Wow that paint! Hand painted by brush?
Great inspiration for a shoe painting plan I was just musing about for my tri shoes, thanks! If you want some matchy shoes give me a shout. -

The paint was all done by hand from my vague description that included “all the fluros “.
Hand painted shoes sound cool but think matching to this frame might be a bit too strong.

After my cassette incompetence was solved by the gnarled thumbs at the LBS, Big Ted is now ticking some Hed Belgium Disc and burlier tyres - the cat abides

Amazing result! Will this be your road bike too?

It could be but I’m spoiled/self indulgent enough to have other bikes for road duties - I see this as having fat tyres and covering mixed surface (Herefordshire lanes are pretty dodgy so fit the ‘mixed surface’ brief; that said, while they have doubtless deteriorated, back in the day I rode them on 23c at 100+ psi).
Encouragingly, 42c isn’t even near clearance limit, looks like a good 10mm either side

Looks fantastic!

I was weary after a tough week but the bike dragged me out regardless, proper mixed surface with waterlogged off-road, narrow manure splattered country lanes and roads with big holes but I survived.
It’s now eagerly coveting my pint - I think it may be sentient.

Is it still without cages?
Think we need to sort that out…Maybe these if we can find elsewhere

Still cage less, need to address it as the ‘balance a pint on a front sling’ approach was sub optimal when moving….

What most of you won’t know is the continuing support and help Ted has been offering on a personal matter and as such, I’d very much like to repay the favour. Something that reminds him of his kindness!
Now he’s also quite humble and will no doubt refute that and any of my offers so we’ll need some suitable peer pressure to find a suitable trinket, be it bag cage or other. Suggestions welcome!Maybe a wizard works goodie?

I must admit I have not read all posts, so maybe I am a bit lost... not sure what you are asking?
If you are asking if you should buy your mate some cages - yes definitely 😁
I am happy to chuck in the bottles via Stayer if you let me know so I can let them know ❤️🔥

Design was mine (note - it was ripped off the internet and adapted so by ‘mine’ read ‘at least first generation copyright infringement’) but it was the genius of the builder to bring it together with the fluro accents.
This is my poor departed puss, the inspo

an adorable, and im sure well loved kitty
Very happy, for a big old frame it looks nicely proportioned, the fit was comfortable immediately and absolutely loving the head badge (and I’m taking credit for the idea if not the multi colour execution) and paint.
I’ve said before, will say again - expectations absolutely exceeded, just need to put some memories into it.
