The flatting of the seatstay to seatpost clamp area pre paintjob from memory was the worse, paint finsh was very average, a very underwhelming frame visually. A proper whippet to ride though, but absolutely not worth the money, I would have returned it if I could (long story).

I don't think most bikes are worth their asking price these days, that's why so much of my stuff is second hand. Pity, because I'd love to smash one of these around.

They do a raw finish/find your own paint option I think - maybe for people who've previously owned one of their paintjobs :D

Agreed, that's why I sold up, released some much needed cash and bought some 22-year old bikes that give me just as much fun. Actually more fun.
