Not an app but I just put a recurring appointment in my calendar. Seems you get the best price if you buy well in advance.

I've not used it personally, but the Money Saving Expert app has a feature to do this. I'm about to install and give it a go

You should have a cooling-off period where you can cancel at no cost, even for auto-renewals. maybe 14 days?

I think you still get a cooling off period.

Does anyone know of an app, that I could long when I various insurance are coming up for expiry , got completely stung on my car motoring insurance, as I'd noted down the date incorrectly so it auto renewed.
