And I did, I had a spare rack and Decalluer, so I thought why not? However I had to change the forks to some steel ones, much to Hulsroj's relief... ( At least the replacements look OEM, match the clearance on the rear, and almost the OG A-C ). I also took the opportunity to swap the headset out too.
Im quite pleased with my bodged light mount:
I can now share the Swift rando bag from my Raleigh
It still is a nice gear to scoot about on, i did 45km yesterday which i throughly enjoyed. Hopefully get some more winter miles on it, might even pop some mudguards on

Fixed-Tracklo-Rando-Bike is a vibe. Setting bikes up to easily share useful bags is such a good idea.

I had at least unridden but built success with the woundups for the poor bontrager satellite and a wald.
Used a 135mm bolt on 9mm axle with alu spacers from a 160(?)mm quick release axle specifically offered to bolt on rear racks for the struts. Reckon one can get similar spacers by themselves, it was just the cheapest solution.
Then decided the forks didn't look good on any biek I had and sold them on. -

Must have missed it but what ratio are you running? Bike looks excellent, think my next fixed gear build will be something like this.

Man who would have thought a 6KU could look this good and it just keeps getting better. I’ve been keeping an eye out for one, because of you. But they are always the wrong size or too far away to collect.

Fell of Raleigh just before christmas (slippery paving on the seafront), broke my wrist and bent a brake lever. Decided to take a punt on replacing them with these from ali express
