  • Front rack - random vintage one from French eBay that looks almost home made
    Decalluer - VO
    Bag - Swift industries

  • And I did, I had a spare rack and Decalluer, so I thought why not? However I had to change the forks to some steel ones, much to Hulsroj's relief... ( At least the replacements look OEM, match the clearance on the rear, and almost the OG A-C ). I also took the opportunity to swap the headset out too.

Im quite pleased with my bodged light mount:

I can now share the Swift rando bag from my Raleigh

It still is a nice gear to scoot about on, i did 45km yesterday which i throughly enjoyed. Hopefully get some more winter miles on it, might even pop some mudguards on

  • very good.

  • much to Hulsroj's relief

And mine, please don't drill your wound-ups. Worked out great!

  • excellent bike made more excellent

  • Fixed-Tracklo-Rando-Bike is a vibe. Setting bikes up to easily share useful bags is such a good idea.

  • I had at least unridden but built success with the woundups for the poor bontrager satellite and a wald.
Used a 135mm bolt on 9mm axle with alu spacers from a 160(?)mm quick release axle specifically offered to bolt on rear racks for the struts. Reckon one can get similar spacers by themselves, it was just the cheapest solution.
Then decided the forks didn't look good on any biek I had and sold them on.

  • Fab mix of functional & fun! Big fan of the blue tyres too, miss mine!

  • Thanks all; I will update when i do some more rides on it. I also need to write up my trip this summer when I rode cross-country to visit my parents in Wales.

  • It still is a nice gear to scoot about on

Must have missed it but what ratio are you running? Bike looks excellent, think my next fixed gear build will be something like this.

  • If you fancy a cheap as chips medium Pompino, let me know!

  • Man who would have thought a 6KU could look this good and it just keeps getting better. I’ve been keeping an eye out for one, because of you. But they are always the wrong size or too far away to collect.

  • Great work, bike looks amazing

  • Must have missed it but what ratio are you running?

    errr i think 44 xt 18 with 45c so 69.62 gear inches

  • bontrager satellite For sale?

  • Not atm, im saving for the summer

  • Fell of Raleigh just before christmas (slippery paving on the seafront), broke my wrist and bent a brake lever. Decided to take a punt on replacing them with these from ali express

  • sorry to hear that king

  • Levers: turned up, they're really nice IRL.
Wrist: Still fucked, waiting for an MRI to see why.

  • new mudguards, lights, saddle, @Hulsroy bottle cage, @Tijmen bag and an extra rack stay

  • Bloody hell. 10/10.

  • 9.5/10, needs flaps

  • Bravo!
