I’ve got hereditary high cholesterol, started on atorvastatin several months ago after a diagnosis of coronary artery disease and cholesterol levels are right down below where they were 30 years ago. And I am not living like a monk. Mind you, my arteries are presumably still equivalent to those of a 76 year old.
