we used the morland stuff, got some RAL matched Unika Colorfil to blob across the joints (U-shape kitchen, two joints) and it's not very noticeable once you start using the kitchen day to day (though might be indicative of how messy our house is...)
seem runs left to right where the kettle is in this pic (tarted up as it was taken to send to the tiler).for other bits of ply, we went with PlyDirect, no qualms to report.

John Porter Worktops or maybe Needs Plastics
For birch Builders Depot are among the cheapest and quality has been good - B/BB
Richard Russell also have some 2000 x 1000 x 18 birch they're trying to shift
Trying to find a supplier of Formica laminated ply for a kitchen worktop that's not eye-wateringly priced. It needs to be over 3000mm. Laminate and Ply do it but it's coming in at over £1k incl VAT and delivery. Morland sell the same for about £400 but they only go up to 2440mm length board, so would have to have a join in the worktop which is probably going to look rubbish. Any ideas much appreciated.
Also I know it's been asked before, but any recommendations for decent suppliers of birch ply in general these days?
