Bumping this question after having to to clean out my cupboard following an accident.
How do people store their noddles?
They don't stack neatly and fall over.
3d printed ramen stand?
Cnc'd Alu plinth?
Some sort of massive tupperwear?

Tian Tian Market in Canning Town might be worth a look. 2 aisles of noodle mania.

People on a quest for heat should steer clear of this offering. Tasted acceptable but xtreme hot and spicy is a bit of a push.

Don't really like this one, very watery and bland, needed a lot of Msg, fish sauce, chili oil etc to get it somewhere. The wide noodles with Sichuan pepper are a lot nicer.
The preparation instructions with 500ml of water are probably wrong.

I find myself using much less water in most now. Aim for wet. Noodles rather than full ramen.
I also saw a good video showing different ways to prepare shin ramen. One involved using the powder to make a chilli oil and mixing that with the cooked, drained noodles. They were good

These are pretty good. I've had good experiences with most stuff from Thailand.

I mean, it can be made good with a bit of chilli and some veg. I usually try them with just the standard stuff to give it a proper rating. It's defo a step above the cheap Koka/go/indomie stuff

The only good thing about my old job, which involved commuting between south London and Redhill, was being able to swing by Wing Yip on my way home. The promised land.

I've become addicted to cold noodles for my packed lunch, I found a recipe on Instagram of all places. A tablespoon of peanut butter, some soy sauce, sugar, sesame seed oil and fresh ginger. I also add Kecap Manis, Chinese black vinegar and fish sauce and add some fresh shredded cabbage and sliced spring onion, it's a bit of a dog's dinner but totally delish.
Supposed to use thick wheat noodles but I use vacuum packed 'wok ready' rice noodles. The original had garlic, chilli and crispy onions in it but I can't eat those things anymore! Quick, cheap and tasty. 😋

Decent. Right amount of heat/numbing and nicer than usual noodles.

I'm in just need to get the duck.
I used to buy a tasty shrimp tempura noodle pot from the Japan Centre at Stratford Westfield, they stopped stocking them a few months ago. I didn’t take a pic unfortunately. Any suggestions where else to look local?
