Do you know a place that could powder coat it? If so I can fire you over cash for your time/materials/stem/powdercoat.

I’ve used a place that’s cheap but ‘get what you pay for’ and i know of another place that’s meant to be better quality but haven’t used them myself yet.
What type of stem are you using currently?

Have you considered going on the cargo bikes thread and doing bike boxes?

As in wooden load bay box?

As cool as this is, I struggle to work out the venn diagram on this one...
✅ foldable
❌ but really fucking heavy
✅ off roadable
❌ but lots of vulnerable joints and pivots at risk of dirt
✅ all the gears
❌ little wheels
❌ ££££££sMaybe I'm being myopic, but it feels like it's specifically built for a Europe-to-Asia sponsored cycle where you'll use trains and shit roads.

Yeah those. Have a read of the thread, seems to be lots of interest in that area and it strikes me as a wear and tear item - especially if ppl buy 2nd hand ones. So absolutely fucking massive ones for couriering, vs something to carry kids.

• #14594
Not really heavy, not vunerable, 20x2.25” is fine…

• #14595
Interesting!

Thanks. Hadn't thought about the intricacies like this. I'll try my LBS and see what they can do.

The low and the mid stems are the same, it's just the flat or mid bars that make the height difference. The the H has a longer stem, I think its 6cm longer than the others.

Errr, nah, S stem has more of a front tilt.
Pretty sure there's difference in height too.
Glad to hear, hoping I passed my life over to the right person.
