Your bike is the alu version with carbon fork, right?

Same question for me, is this steel or aluminum? I am not a teacher, just have no friends 😀

Can't post it on FB and on here buddy. Esp not for less £ over there

Seller seems dodge. Alleged height doesn't correspond to two different frame size of bike and they have clearly no idea what they're selling here.

Ouch! I guess it’s good the community are so stringent when it comes to verifying sellers but I promise I am legit.
If you must know I was involved in a velodrome crash (on a different bike) shortly after buying both of these in 2018. Memory of exact spec or bikes not great following head injury and 5 years retired from cycling.. Hence heavy use of copy paste from the 8bar website. Here is a receipt for the purchase, which I can forward the original email of if anyone has any doubts.
Thanks for your due diligence. And sorry that I listed for a different price elsewhere, I wasn’t trying to be cheeky. I listed as Ono and I can delete from FB and ebay if that’s the rule?

You bought a space red steel fhain and ended up with a raw aluminium krzberg... how does that work?

i love the madness of this forum

I would love to buy the fhain is you find it

Hey, I have the Fhain. As per the photos, if can provide more photos. I can’t explain why my receipt says space red, clearly the receipt I was provided with has an error. I didn’t think it would be so important at the time to make sure the colour was correct. But I did genuinely buy the bike. The frame is aluminium.
It comes as per the photos, I just want it to go to a good home because it’s a great bike and I gave up cycling!

So you bought a space red steel fhain v3 in 2018 and received a raw aluminium krzberg v2 (which they stopped making in 2013), and you can't remember how that happened... but you want to use the invoice as proof of purchase even though it's a completely different bike. Make it make sense

The bike there is listed as collection only and it’s in Exeter. I assumed that as this is a London forum I would be having to relocate the bike, and so would involve additional hassle for me. Not trying to take the piss, I listed as ONO. If someone wants to come get it from Exeter we can chat :)

The colour is listed wrong on the receipt. What can I say, I’ve learnt a lesson about making sure receipts are correct. I have contacted 8bar asking them to amend, hopefully they are able to .. although it was 5 years ago!!
I don’t really know what you’re accusing me of. Do you think I’m the owner of a red 8bar bike who stole a silver 8bar bike to sell online?
Glad that people are so keen to fact check who is selling what, but just also human error happens, things get recorded wrong and it doesn’t necessarily mean that anything shady has happened. :)

Just finding it hard to piece together how a bike you bought in 2018 was discontinued in 2013, and is in a frame size two sizes smaller than another bike which was apparently custom fit to you? Never seen someone double down like this before and I would genuinely like all of this to be true - what a story it would be.

further research reveals that 8bar released a fhain aluminium which was basically a rebadged v2 krzberg my bad, still confused about the other bits of the story but glws

To be fair, setup of the bike pictured does look like it would fit someone 5'8. Obv carbon fork, cog seems to not be 'sparkling silver' and chainset seems to be different from stock as well though, so the invoice still not quite adding up.
