  • I picked this up for my step son, but he’s unlikely to grow into it for another two years at least, and has announced he would prefer a drop bar racer so rather than faff around trying to adapt this to his desires I am going to see what interest there is. Gears and brakes are all working perfectly, I think the bottom bracket may need replacing though. Bargain buy for child or lady after a quality touring bike - sizing wise it is ok for me at 5ft4 but wouldn’t work for anyone taller

    £150 collected Hackney.

41cm seat tube, and I believe 3x8 Deore but will double check full measurements and specs and add asap

  • Hi, would you be interested in swapping for a Cannondale CAD2 in a similar size to suit your step son? I can meet around North London

My daughter does not like the drops but I think this might be perfect.

I can send photos and would be open to adding some cash on top.

  • Hi, sure yeah send through some photos, although I’m afraid size wise it may be too big though, as I’m really looking at 24” wheeled bikes - he is 8 and not very tall, still currently riding a 20” wheeled bike right now, I think 26” wheeled bike will probably be too big for at least another year

  • I'll get some photos later this afternoon, will take the bike at asking price though if you're not interested in the Cannondale

  • Hi, does this have a 1/1 8 headtube or 1'?

  • I believe 1 1/8 but need to double check

  • Actually having checked it I think it is 1” with a quill adaptor

  • Some additional photos - as you can see it is 3x8 deore drivetrain with deore thumb shifters. Wheels are tiagra hubs laced to drc mt17 italian made rims. Bearings are smooth on wheels and both are very true. Rims aren’t new but loads of wear in them. 1.5 inch Schwalbe city jet tyres also have plenty of wear left, but I also have a new set of tanwall tyres to throw in which are wider. Saddle and pedals are specialised. Cranks appear to have been machined down also to make them shorter - presumaly to avoid toeverlap, be able to go through potholes etc. The bb is pretty low to the ground. Next time I go to bike shed I’ll take measuring tape and check full measurements. Any other questions in the meantime just hmu
