I'm away for the week without an ability to realistically drink anything other than instant. What's the best (least bad) readily-available option??

Are you already away or can you order something to take with you?

If the former then I like the plastic (sorry) one cup drip filters you can buy in most supermarkets.

Ended up with this stuff as it was on clearance. Would rather it didn't have the flavouring but overall it's actually decent, without the flavouring I think I would almost say it's good...
