Budget/style/colour/width?

Happy to spend up to say £80 per strap, can go more if it's something especially nice /suitable.
Leather, likely a brown for each although considering blue for the Chronoswiss
20mm with 18 at buckle for the Chronoswiss, I'll want to replace the buckle with the original clasp which I've removed from the old strap
21mm for the Citizen. Want a (gold coloured) deployment but am not fussed on using the original one

Anyone looking for a Seiko Cocktail Time?
Worn but well looked after, some very small scratches but great overall. No original box or booklet as I moved recently and I can't find it!
Comes with original strap though.
£200 fair??

I’d suggest keeping an eye on Two Stitch and Molequin for their Black Friday sales. Both make really good handmade straps.
Watchgecko have some nice ones amongst their huge range, will have a dig through and see if there’s something that fits the bill.

Random question, but if I needed to get a watch valued for insurance purposes, what would be the best way to go about it?

Two stitch are only doing 10% off straps Fri-Sun this weekend
VIP2023 should work for 20% off The Strap Tailor over £50
Molequin 10% first order with sign up and some good discounts on their full stitch smooth Calfskin atm
which look very nice

Strap Tailor is nice but a bit pricey.
I mean, they’re all pricey but TST seems just a little bit too expensive for the quality to me.

The Ostend Baranil from Watchgecko is a lovely strap - if you can get it at a discount it’s a great choice, lovely and soft.

https://molequin.com/collections/smooth-calfMolequin have a black friday sale starting 11:00am on Friday. Up to 50% off and free shipping.
Their watch cases are literally the best cases. They're incredibly high quality.
The smooth calf straps are great, I bought a khaki one when it was on sale, for a watch for my old man. It's lovely. Actually quite similar to the Ostend Baranil, very soft. Their tone-on-tone suede ones are great too. I have the Oxblood one (pictured) and a Slate one for my GSs. I am a Molequin fan.

Cheers I'll check out Molequin this weekend then. I've got 2x Two Stitch and 2x TST. Two Stitch are really good value and look like they will last forever but are quite thick. I didn't mind the premium for TST as I had custom coloured stitching on one and curved ends on another at no extra cost but probably wouldn't order from him at full rrp for a standard offering. Molequin might prove to be a sweet spot for me though their regular prices aren't bad and they look abit more luxe than the Two Stitch

I have a Molequin suede and a Strap Tailor suede and the quality is basically the same. Molequin don't do custom stuff though.
Some Two Stitch leathers are definitely quite chunky but not all. Their “coal” leather strap is a big favourite of mine.

that GS is so so good
You have a pelegos 39 as well don't you? I think if there was a dream 2 watch collection that would be pretty much it for me.

Cheers, yeah, I do. The P39 is a killer daily / "GADA", it's by far my most worn watch at the moment.
Agree if I had to pare it back to two it might well be P39 and a hand wound GS. On the other hand, if it had to be only one watch it would be the Oyster Perpetual because it basically does everything.

Thanks. How much are they, typically? Would rather not do the eyeballing auction sites route.

Great combo!
Fabergé had a lot to do with popularising guilloché and enameling.
