Likely the spacers are a good idea but I am not minded to pull my fork apart to install them. I take the cowards way.

I’ve added them on my Fox and checked them on my Rock Shox, it’s really easy.
There’s “really easy” and “really easy but if I do this wrong I will fuck up a £700 fork” and frankly that’s a level of pressure I don’t need in bike maintenance (where I routinely fuck things up)
