Recently got Disney+ as a free benefit so have been catching up on stuff on that.
Have just finished season 1 of The Bear last night and we were quite happy with the ending so felt apprehensive about the 2nd season. Glad to hear it holds up.
Also watched the 1st season of Only Murders in the Building before that which was good fun too. Didn't want to rush through stuff so held off on the 2nd season for now.
I've been watching Bob's Burgers in the background of stuff and love it. Had seen episodes here and there over the years and liked it but never bothered to watch it properly until now.

+1 to series 2 of The Bear. Different approach, but enjoyed it.
Finished S2 of Lazarus project. I wanted to like it, but the inability for the majority of the characters to see past their short sighted 'goals' really annoyed me.
Stlyishly shot, but lacking substance. Lots of plot holes, but still enjoyable in a 007 brains off way.
Gonna start that Murder at the end of the World next. Trailer looked very cinematic, but doesn't look like a wholly original idea.

Huge fan of the Bear, but I think the shark was jumped when an omelette sprinkled with crumbs from a packet of McCoys was described as “fire”

Scavengers reign animated Sci-Fi series absolutely bonkers amazing
Kinda reminds/gave same giggly filing as 80s French animated film Masters of time created by Moebius I've seen as achild, exploration of alien world that actually alien. I want to know and see more
Highly recommend and fingers crossed for second season -

So I'm enjoying Severance but man my head is so fucked at times
Super excited to start watching The Curse - Nathan Fielder and Benny Safdie feels like a dream match for incredibly awkward viewing

Watching Monarch: Legacy of Monsters on Apple TV. So far so good, tense atmosphere rather than an action movie with godzilla.

It looked like a good omelette to be fair.
Their use of the word 'fire' in general is quite annoying but they're younger than me and they're American so it was always going to.

Re watching MindHunter mid way through season 2. crying shame that it was cancelled just as it was getting going. right up there with dead wood for tv cancelled too soon.

Culprits Fast moving heist show. Don't usually like time changes, but this does them well. Like a show where the baddy and goody lines cross and you split sympathies.

I’ve just started this. Not my usual bag, but really enjoying it.

I managed about 10 minutes of the new Frasier and regret all of them.

shame, the original was such a class, well written, intelligent show.

Boat story - Found it to be rather good and reminds me in part of Killing Eve and Fargo (The series) and much better than I thought it would be - I am a fan of both leads ,Daisy Haggard & Paterson Joseph.

Irish friend told me to watch Kin. Two episodes in and it’s good simple gangster bullshit. No massive surprises but some decent actors and well done.

Did you ever watch Love / Hate?

That is exactly what he messaged me two minutes ago. Not yet.

How did I miss there's a fallout TV show on the way? Very excited, the power armour looks great.

Feels like the adverts only appeared a few days ago.

Just watched episode 1 of Invincible S2. Happily it seems to have kept up the quality.
Binge incoming. Fuck yeah.

Loved the bit to karma police.

I was a little bored by ep1 but got neck into the swing of it again afterwards, probably my fault for being drunk.
-
• #8849
Yeah it's quite a long episode and took me a while to recall events in S1. Add without spoilers the narrative didn't help with that very much!
Still ace though. Although barb see being drunk would have been challenging.

Barb sees all. It's really good anyway.
I loved season 2 of the bear
