Middleburn RS8 X type 175mm cranks in black fitted with single 32t 3/32nds chainring. These have plenty of scuffs, marks & heel rub (the eagle eyes will have noticed the non drive side bolt isn’t in the pics, this will be replaced before sale) all threads are fine - not easy to find now -£75 posted for the pair seems fair.

What spider are you looking for?

I need a spider that you can bolt on a bashgaurd to the outside and chain ring to the inside.

I think you might struggle with the x type cranks - all I have found in the past were the old trials type bash guards to fit a single ring and they were for the RS7 square taper cranks which won’t fit the x type ones.

Depending on the chainring size you wanted could possibly use the duo spider with a 104bcd bash guard & a 64bcd chainring?

Could be interested in the Middleburn mono 104bcd spider in silver to fit RS8 x type cranks . Just looking into what effect it will have fitting it to an RS7 square taper crank chainline....

No problem at all - the x type spiders don’t work well with the square taper cranks! I’ve been there before which is why I now run the x type cranks on all my bikes! This set is a spare where I change to silver cranks.

Can vouch for this, managed to recently pick one up on eBay for £32 after quite a bidding frenzy. GLWS.

To be honest out of all of it that would be the bit I keep - I run these on both bikes!

I’m interested, are they the mtb width axle? Frame I’m thinking of putting them on is 73 bsa shell.

They are indeed - will fit either 68 (with spacers) or 73mm shell width.

Just double checked & this is fitted with the 138mm axle which is fine for 68 & 73 mm shells
