I wondered if anyone had advice about selling cuban cigars? My mum brought back 25 Cohiba Madura 5 Genios from Cuba last week and asked me to help her sell them. Having done a bit of research seems it is a bit trickier than I initialy hoped and also these cigars cost a fortune! Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

^ Exactly. And expect to make a big loss if you do sell them.

Thanks for the replies do you mean get caught selling them in the UK? She got them out of Cuba fine. She got a good deal and really i just want to get her money back and a small profit which seened doable considering how much they are here.

Your mum will be liable for Excise and VAT on selling them, assuming they were bought back under the personal allowance on returning to the UK (unless she declared them and paid the appropriates at the airport?)
"Don't get caught" is fairly good advice

You're probably unlikely to get caught out but I doubt you'll make much. True connoisseurs wouldn't touch them and you can't advertise them.

Hi - my brother has filled his humidor so up for grabs at what he tells me is a decent saving is
10 x Camacho Connecticut
10 x BrickHouse TeaserHe's looking for £200ovno though would split 5&5 for a ton. He is on the Herts/Cambs border (obviously he can post at cost)
Google away; I'm no cigar smoker but thought as there's all manner of weird and wonderful vices/interests on here, including the buying and selling of the odd bottle of grog there may be some interest.
If interested let me know and I'll put you in touch
