It's 42.
I think Breitling also do a 44 and a 46.
Someone posted a blue/grey one at the beginning of the year which looked amazing, but it was too large for me. It's a great watch, highly recommended.

That's the best size I think. Is the strap blue?

It's a discontinued model now. They did a 36 as well.

Yes, it's called the Pro Diver III strap. I just looked at the invoice and it said the strap was £60, which is great. Unfortunately the clasp is £310.
I looked at a blue Pelagos with the blue silicon strap, but that was too blue for me - this is a bit more understated.

Yes, this was last years and was quite hard to find. I think I bought one of the last ones in their boutiques. I prefer the older one as it had a plainer look (and I think, looking at the new prices - was a fair bit cheaper).

Love an LCD.. they are relatively under appreciated in the Speedy world, you should get one!

Nice explorer, was it serviced by Rolex, did they refinish the case? love a 16570 , I went for black in the end but love the polar too, guessing yours is a late one (no lug holes?)

I will keep looking . That specific reference does not seem to keep up very often ..

Yes - it went back to Rolex - its been refinished and had a new bezel - I was quite wary of this, but to be fair it was in pretty tatty condition and looks fantastic now so i'm very happy with it.
This would be mid-2000's, so no lug holes. -

Can anybody give me a 'thumbs up' or 'thumbs down' on dealing with subdial.
There is an Omega on their website that has taken my fancy, and is in my budget.
Disclaimer. I am an absolute Novice in the world of quality watches.
Pointers gratefully received.

on dealing with subdial.
What does this mean??
As in it has a subdial? What kind? Seconds?
(if you like the watch and you can afford it, do it!)

I haven’t personally dealt with them, but there are a few threads on TZUK that are positive about them. They’re deffo not fly-by-nights. I’d be comfy buying from them.

39mm. But the lug to lug is near as dammit 50mm. And then the bracelet end links are fixed so if you take them into account it’s 53mm or more. Which is a lot. But they angle down sharply enough that it works totally fine. The whole thing feels really nice and thin too.
It looks a lot nicer than in my picture, it really does.

I have used Subdial to sell a watch.
It was a seamless transaction - communication was excellent, so thumbs up from me.
