It’s not where you start, it’s where you finish that counts. When I was making furniture from repurposed materials it gave you a jumping off point, but only ‘you’ could see the vision until it was finished. It’s not upcycling or salvaging, you are not just putting lipstick on a pig. Don’t under sell yourself. -
Use of Salvage is playing it down imo, ship of Theseus etc etc

1300 for a repurposed, xxl rinko frame, made in Denmark, by hand, to a decent quality with in-house designed parts seems like a price that doesn’t need justification
Custom bikes are an artisan good, as with all artisan goods you’re rarely paying for the materials but instead for the craftsperson.
