Fake Rolex market estimate half Billion last year that'd possibly make top 15 on that list đł

Itâs not an addition to the range, itâs replacing the 42mm.

These are a huge miss IMO.
Why would you take the Marinemaster name off the actual Marinemaster and then put it on this?
And the price. Jesus. Makes the SJE093 look like a bargain.

The date and prospex logo are glaring. I quite like the bezel teeth.

Looks like a shit custom Seiko. Bracelet to watch head interface is appalling.

Jubilee type bracelet on a dive is wack too, feels like an identity crisis.

It seems to be based on a vintage aftermarket bracelet made by Maruman:

It was worn on a 62MAS by the leading man in a popular Japanese movie, apparently, which seems to be why theyâve recreated it for these new 62MAS-inspired models.

Yeah, they are. Kind of reminds me of the handset from the Omega FOIS - canât see it most of the time because of the reflections.

New strap from Esprit NATO on my cheap Ebay watch. Definitely looks better.

That's not a normal dive size!

I went from the P39 to the FOIS the other day and my immediate reaction was âWTF I canât see shitâ. Did (briefly) prompt a longing for white stick hands and a hesalite crystal.
Got used to it again after a bit though.

That's a twin quartz. Very nice.
Or at least it looks like one from the logo. -

I bought a Casio w59 as a simple everyday watch. It's the more waterproof sibling of the more famous f91w. I like it a lot, simple face, natural numbers, exposed lugs, super functional.
But, like the f91w, the back light is woeful: one sided and not at all contrasty.Luckily, some bright spark in Toronto has designed a nifty solution (works for both models) - a piece of dimpled plastic that slips behind the LCD display that spreads the light more evenly. It took more time than it should (you can see from the before and after shots exactly how long!) mainly because the screen decided firstly to display everything and secondly to display only a fragment. After a few back-to-the-beginning attempts and an 'AC reset' it now works as it should and I'm really pleased with the result.
Fun, if you like that sort of thing.

^ thought the same thing.
It would be great if Casio made a slightly bigger steel version of this. I have a similar model with a black metal bracelet and always thought with a few tweeks it'd be an amazing watch.
